Generosity in Action

A well-known philanthropist in Blair County chose the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg Health Care Center for his ailing wife.  After seeing firsthand the level of care and commitment provided by her nurses and aides, he then made arrangements to move into an Personal Care suite. He quickly adjusted to his new surroundings, while remaining active at the local YMCA and golf club; he is now forming a weekly bridge club.  He made a meaningful gift to the construction project, which he termed his “Home Improvement Investment,” much like painting or carpeting a house.
